About Pema
Pema Khando is the founder and founding master esthetician of PemSpa. With more than 15 years of experience in the spa industry, Pema created PemSpa to offer something more personal, more thoughtful, and more intentional than a standard spa appointment. Every esthetician at PemSpa is trained directly by Pema in the PemSpa Method, our approach to customized facials, careful skin analysis, product integrity, and client-first care. Her work is rooted in one simple belief: a facial should never feel rushed, scripted, or sales-driven. It should feel like someone is truly taking care of you.
In my spare time, you can usually find me caring for my naughty pup, Sengey, who is always getting into trouble, browsing Facebook Marketplace for fun little treasures, traveling, or spending time on the mid-Cape. I have also watched every season of Grey’s Anatomy three times, which says a lot about my commitment to a routine.

About Sarah
Sarah is an esthetician at PemSpa with a focus on customized facials, brow services, lash services, and thoughtful client care. She brings a calm, attentive presence to the treatment room and is known for helping clients feel comfortable, relaxed, and cared for throughout their appointment.
Sarah’s approach is rooted in listening. She takes time to understand each client’s skin concerns, comfort level, and goals before beginning treatment. Whether she is performing a facial, brow lamination, lash lift, waxing service, or combination appointment, her goal is to create an experience that feels polished, personal, and never rushed.
Sarah is especially passionate about the confidence that comes from small details: clean brows, lifted lashes, glowing skin, and a client leaving the room feeling more like themselves. Her work at PemSpa reflects the same care standards behind the PemSpa Method: intention, comfort, consistency, and attention to detail.
Outside of PemSpa, Sarah loves a good book, car shows, sunny days, new restaurants, dogs, and traveling as much as she can.

About Boris
Boris is the co-founder and general manager of PemSpa. He works behind the scenes to support the client experience, operations, systems, marketing, and the standards that help PemSpa feel organized, personal, and consistent.
Boris co-founded PemSpa with Pema Khando in 2021 after seeing how much expert, thoughtful skincare could change the way someone feels in their own skin. His role is to help protect the kind of experience PemSpa was built for: clear communication, careful service design, respectful policies, strong client support, and a calm boutique environment where the team can do their best work.
While Pema leads the treatment philosophy and esthetician training, Boris focuses on the structure around the care. That includes making sure the website, booking flow, client communication, service menu, and daily operations reflect the same intention clients experience inside the treatment room.
Outside of PemSpa, Boris is a long-time independent fund manager and investor. He enjoys ultimate frisbee, yoga, hiking, and spending time on the Cape in Yarmouth. He loves animals and spending time with his Frenchie/Shih Tzu mix.
